Care & Use

Each piece is handmade and should be treated with care.

All functional work is finished with food-safe glaze and is suitable for serving and display.

All vessels are glazed internally so safe to hold liquid.

 

Due to the nature of hand-built ceramics and layered surface finishes, I recommend avoiding the rigours of the dishwasher!​ To help preserve the surface and longevity of your piece:

​

• Hand wash with warm water and mild soap

• Handle carefully, particularly around delicate edges and sculptural details

Natural variation in surface, texture and finish is part of the character of handmade ceramic work and should be embraced as part of each piece’s individuality.

A gentle dust or wipe with a clean, damp lint free cloth will keep your Gilded Nest or Arcana sculpture looking its best.​​​
